Over 140,000 Christmas Lights Synchronized to Music on 89.9 FM
Our display is on an extended "vacation."
We look forward to a return in the near future.
Lighting Up Paxton has been on an extended hiatus since our last light display for the 2022 Christmas season.
Our family has quickly grown from two to five in this short time after welcoming our three amazing sons to the world over the last four years. As many know, life with that many little children keeps you plenty busy without time for much else. This is especially true for a labor of love that takes as many weeks and daily hours to setup and maintain as our synchronized Christmas light display.
The Christmas lights and display items remain safely stored away to be brought out once again in the near future. We know it won't be this year, but when the time comes, we look forward to our oldest boys helping in every way they find possible.
Thank you to everyone who has made Lighting Up Paxton part of your Christmas tradition. We continue to feature our past display videos and popular tutorials like "How to Fix Christmas Lights" on our YouTube channel. Be sure to check it out if you find problems with your own Christmas light strings as you get them out this season.
Happy Fall and Merry Christmas!
Victor & Sarah Johnson
Lighting Up Paxton – The Johnson Christmas Display
Lighting Up Paxton will still have a small Christmas train display set up west Patton St., across from where the large display was located. Our boys love trains and this was a little treat to share with them and the community.
